Kalie Capadona, a versatile artist and photographer, currently resides in the vibrant Bay Area in California. Her journey in arts began in Honolulu, Hawaii, where she was born and raised. From a very young age, she was inclined towards expressing herself through various art forms, such as painting, writing, and photography. In the early 2000s, Kalie's passion for photography escalated. She initially began by capturing the dynamic local music scene, which slowly transitioned into portrait and fashion photography. This shift showcased her ability to adapt and experiment with different photographic styles. In recent years, Kalie has challenged herself further. She has ventured into exhibiting her work in galleries, demonstrating her confidence in her artistic abilities. Moreover, she now manages an art gallery in the scenic city of San Francisco. This progression in her career not only highlights her growth as an artist but also her commitment to the art community.

Photographer and one of the art directors for Unity Crayons, a early 2000’s group bringing all ages punk rock shows and art shows to the youth of Honolulu, Hawaii. In the Summer of 2020, she brought together two other producers to create Paradise Peepshow. A curated Honolulu cabaret show with live jazz and burlesque with a nod of the 1940’s Chinatown heyday. She is the president, art director and photographer of PPS.

Have taken photos of many of the local bands of Hawaii. Including photo shoots of Black Square, The Hell Caminos and countless others. Featured photos on the Honolulu’s Aldorays 2018 album & Santa Cruz’s The Inciters 2023 album.

Had the privilege of shooting bands like Lower Class Brats, TSOL, Larry and His Flask, Agent Orange, The Zombies, Silent Planet, The Knumbskulls, Mickey Finn,The Distillers, and many more.

@vanswarpedtour2019 in mountain view CA. Here's some of the shots I got. I only got to see the next of the second day. I rushed from work and like a good I forgot my telephoto lens 😕. Had to wiggle, duck and dodge to get the shots. I've only done a couple of festivals and this was a big one. It was fun and a learning experience. Soon I will be in that photo out but until then I'll do my guerrilla style photography. Went to warped tour yesterday and had a blast. The first photos I took were of the skate and bmx demo. As I go through and edit I'll post more of the event.
